1. All articles of clothing must be clean, lint free, pet hair free, odor free and in like new condition. They should be pressed and on hangers or folded neatly in a tote with lid. Shoes MUST be free of soil and stains. Excessively wrinkled clothing will not be accepted. Pearl Place reserves the right to reject any items that are deemed unacceptable for resale. 

2. The consigned items shall have an agreed sales price. Consignor may withdraw any item from active status in the event of pricing disagreement. If not sold within 60 days, the items that have not been claimed by the consignor become the property of Pearl Place. 

3. The items are placed in active status for 60 days. The consignor will receive 40% of the sold price. If the amount due the consignor is $20.00 or more at the end of the month, a check will be mailed AFTER THE 15th OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH. Amounts totaling less than $20.00 may be picked up in cash at the end of the contract period BUT within one year or the funds will be forfeited. 

4. If your item is sold at discount during the active contract period, the discount is split 40/60 between the consignor and the consignee. The price of your item will be adjusted in our software to reflect the discounted price and to fairly split the actual proceeds of your item. 

5. If consignor wishes unsold items to be returned, consignor will retrieve unsold items from sales rack themselves on or before the contract termination date. 

6. The consignor waives any claim against consignee for damage to the items consigned as a result of fire or action of the elements. In addition, consignor waives any claim against consignee for missing items. 

7. The terms of this agreement will be strictly enforced. No notice of expiration of contract will be given. Consignor waives notice thereof and agrees the property becomes that of consignee's unless reclaimed by consignor within prescribed time limit. Extenuating circumstances will be accommodated by the consignee if phone notification is made prior to the expiration date of the contract. 

8. There will be a $1.00 deduction on each contract per mailing for postage and handling. (Subject to change.)
